Bridal Fashion Shoot with Becky

A few weeks ago we photographed a bridal fashion session with Becky at the Cherry Creek Reservoir. The day started out just fine until the sky looked like it was going to pour for the rest of the day and ruin the hours we'd spent at the hair salon and having her makeup done. We were glad though when only clouds stuck around and didn't bring the rain with it. Michelle came up with a great idea a while back after seeing the Taylor Swift video for Love Story. We decided it would be fun to do our trash the dress/bridal fashion sessions with a theme if people wanted to, so when Becky suggested the look of Audrey Hepburn we loved the idea. Finding the right dress for the occasion was not as easy but she had a few dresses that when matched with the hair and makeup worked great to fit right in to our 20's, 30's, 40's theme. You may remember Becky from her & Neal's wedding back in August- she's been a blast to work with and we were so glad we got to take more photos for her. I've been wanting to test out my skills at off camera lighting at night so we started the photos a little bit later in the day and finished with some really cool shots with some of the lights near the marina.
