Testing Backgrounds

As you may have noticed the background on my blog has been changing a lot lately. This is kind of a sneak peak of things to come for my website as well. I'd love to hear what you think- please feel free to leave a comment. Thanks!

Check out our NEW Guest books!

FYI: If I haven't already talked to you about this, we just got in our new Engagement Guest Books. These books are so cool. It's an 8X8 square book with 30 pages. Michelle and I design the pages and photo cover ourselves, send it off to Japan where it gets printed, and get it back in about 4 weeks; but what makes these Guest Books so cool is that your guests actually sign on the pages themselves! Each book comes with an archival safe pen for signing. Check 'em out!

My awesome new lens!

I just got a new Canon 50mm 1.2L lens to add to my collection. I had to take some photos with it as soon as I got it right out of the box. This lens is known for producing great portraits and top quality images. I'm excited to use it on my upcoming weddings and portraits. Here are a few shots I took with it. They are right out of the camera- no photoshop at all!! I love the bokeh effect (blurring) it creates around the edges of the image- it is so cool.
